Enjoy! \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Handball_Court_Size\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Handball Court Size<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The playing court is 40 meters long and <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>20 meters<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> wide rectangle, consisting of two goal areas and a playing area. The longer boundary lines are called side lines, and the shorter ones are called goal lines (between the goalposts) or outer goal lines (on either side of the goal). <\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Safety_Zone\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Safety Zone<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">There should be a safety zone surrounding the playing court, with a width of at least 1 meter along the side lines and 2 meters behind the goal lines. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Goals\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The Goals<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The goals are placed in the center of each goal line. They must be fixed to the ground or to the walls behind them. Both the segments of the line and the spaces between them <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>measure 15cm<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Handball_7-Meter_Line\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The Handball 7-Meter Line <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The 7-metre line is a <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>1-meter <\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">long line, directly in front of the goal. It is parallel to the goal line and 7 meters away from it.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Goalkeepers_Restraining_Line\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The Goalkeeper\u2019s Restraining Line <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>goalkeeper\u2019s restraining line<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> (the 4-metre line) is a 15cm long line, directly in front of the goal. It is parallel to the goal line and 4 meters away from it.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Center_Line\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The Center Line <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The center line connects the midpoints of the two side lines.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Handball_Substitution_Line\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The Handball Substitution Line <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The substitution line (a segment of the side line) for each team extends from the center line to a point at a distance of <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>4.5 meters<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> from the center line.
