Starting from position 1 (first player to serve) to position 2 (second player to serve and so on, till position 6. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9291 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/volleyball-rotation.png\" alt=\"Volleyball Rotations System\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/volleyball-rotation.png 840w, https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/volleyball-rotation-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/volleyball-rotation-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Front Zone Positions <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Position 2 \u2013 Right side<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Position 3 \u2013 Middle<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Position 4 \u2013 Left side<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Back Zone Positions<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Position 1 \u2013 Right side<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Position 6 \u2013 Middle<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Position 5 \u2013 Left side<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span lang=\"en-US\">ROTATION FOULS<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">It is a rotation foul when:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">A player from the back zone is closer to the centerline than his correspondent from the front zone. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"> Ex.: When the player in position 6 is closer to the centerline than the player in position 3. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">A player in a middle position is closer to the sidelines (left or right) than the other player in the same zone (front or back) <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"> Ex.: When the player in position 6 is closer from the left sideline than the player in position 5 or closer to the right sideline than the player in position 1. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ROTATION_ORDER\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ROTATION ORDER <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The rotation order is determined by the initial team formation in each set. Imagine that the Red team was receiving the service;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">2. Red team has won the point and the right to serve;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">3. The Red team must rotate clockwise;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">4. Player D who was in position 1 will advance to position 6;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">5. Player E who was in position 6 will advance to position 5;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">6. Player F who was in position 5 will advance to position 4;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">7. Player C who was in position 4 will advance to position 3;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">8. Player B who was in position 3 will advance to position 2;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">9. Player A who was in position 2 will advance to position 1 and must serve.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SERVICE_ORDER_FOUL\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">SERVICE ORDER FOUL<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">A <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>service order<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> foul occurs when the service is made for a player out of order, presented by the team before the start of the set.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Example: In the example of the image above, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>player A<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> would be responsible for the service after the rotation, but if <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>player B<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> serves, there is an error in the service order. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"PUNISHMENT_FOR_A_SERVICE_ORDER_FOUL\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">PUNISHMENT FOR A SERVICE ORDER FOUL<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">When a foul occurs in the order of service, the scorer paralyzes the rally and <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>a point<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> is awarded to the opponent team.
