<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/en\/sports\/volleyball\/\">Volleyball<\/a> 5&#215;1 tactical system is a very advanced, used by well-trained teams and professional teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Volleyball 5&#215;1 System is the most widely used tactical system in the world. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"FEATURES_OF_THE_VOLLEYBALL_5%C3%971_SYSTEM\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">FEATURES OF THE VOLLEYBALL 5&#215;1 SYSTEM <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">All players are specialists in a particular role.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">There is 1 setter;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">1 Opposite (attack specialist);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">2 Outside Hitters (reception and attack specialists)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">2 Middle blockers (fast attack, through the middle and block specialists)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Used by very well trained and professional teams;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Not suitable for beginner teams;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Almost always uses a libero (reception and defense specialist)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"POSITIONING_IN_A_5x1_SYSTEM\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">POSITIONING IN A 5x<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">1<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> SYSTEM<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9243 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/volleybal-5X1-system.png\" alt=\"Volleyball 5x1 Tactical System\" width=\"533\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/volleybal-5X1-system.png 533w, https:\/\/www.dicaseducacaofisica.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/volleybal-5X1-system-300x163.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The positioning of players in the 5&#215;1 System always follows the logic of diagonal relation of the players (see image above).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span lang=\"en-US\">The setter always is in a diagonal if the opposite;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span lang=\"en-US\">The middle blocker is always in a diagonal with another middle blocker, and in the back-row usually these players are replaced by the libero;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span lang=\"en-US\">The outside hitters are always in a diagonal to each other.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"TEAM_MOVEMENTS_IN_A_5%C3%971_SYSTEM\"><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">TEAM MOVEMENTS IN A 5&#215;1 SYSTEM <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In a 5&#215;1 system, a team need to make complex changes of position after the service, giving the possibility to each player to perform in a zone where he is most specialized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span lang=\"en-US\">In the 5&#215;1 System the service is usually received by 3 players: the Libero and the 2 outside hitters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span lang=\"en-US\">The setter and opposite should never participate in the reception system, so they should be isolated from it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span lang=\"en-US\">The back-row middle blocker is usually replaced by the libero.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In the image bellow, one example of positioning changes.
