4 Seconds Rule in Futsal is a time limit for performing certain actions during a futsal game.<\/p>\n<h2 align=\"left\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%8BWhen_is_the_4_Seconds_Rule_Applied_in_Futsal\"><\/span>\u200bWhen is the 4 Seconds Rule Applied in Futsal?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\">The 4-Second Rule in Futsal is applied with the referee&#8217;s opening count whenever:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">goal kick;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">Lateral Shot;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">corner shooting charge;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">deliberate exchange of passes within its penalty area;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">possession of the ball by the goalkeeper within his half-court of defense;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">direct free kick;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">indirect free kick;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">When the Futsal referees realize that for tactical reasons the player is delaying the restart, they can start counting the 4 seconds, even if the player is not in possession of the ball;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">When it is the case to open the 4-second count in Futsal, it should always be done by the referee closest to the play.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 align=\"left\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%8BWhen_should_the_4-second_rule_not_be_applied_in_futsal\"><\/span>\u200bWhen should the 4-second rule not be applied in futsal?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\">For the outgoing or outgoing ball from the middle of the court the 4 second rule does not apply.
