each of which different resources are required from the athlete, such as endurance, strength, speed, and impulsion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\">The current Olympic Athletics program comprises the following sports.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 align=\"left\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%8BTrack_Modalities\"><\/span>\u200b<span lang=\"pt-PT\">Track Modalities<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\">Track and Field is composed of races. The following disciplines are part of the track and field disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">Individual shallow runs;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">Running with hurdles;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">Racing with obstacles;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">Shallow relay races.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 align=\"left\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" align=\"left\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\">During shallow short-distance athletics races, athletes cannot step outside their lane or leave the starting block before the starting pistol, in which case they
