#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">6-0 formation for beginners.<\/span><\/span> <\/li>\n<li> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">4-2 formation.<\/span><\/span> <\/li>\n<li>6-2 formation.<\/li>\n<li> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">And 5-1 formation.<\/span><\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6-0 Formation in Volleyball<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The 6-0 Formation in Volleyball is used with beginning Volleyball players.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In the 6-0 Formation the players have no specialized function.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In the 6-0 Formation all of the players play the roles of Serve Reception, Setting and Attacking, depending on the position they occupy in the rotation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Usually, the player occupying position 3 in the rotation is responsible for the Setting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">All of the other players must help in the Serve reception.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The players occupying positions 2 and 4 in the rotation are the main options for the attack.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure medium;\">The 4-2 Formation is formed by 2 Setters and 4 Hitters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In the 4-2 Formation, the Setters are always opposite to each other in the rotation, that is, the team will have, at all times, a Setter in the front zone and a Setter in the back zone.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Setter positioned in the front zone in the rotation will be responsible for the Sets.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Setter positioned in the back zone will take part in the Serve reception.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The main advantage of the 4-2 Formation in Volleyball is always #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The 4-2 or 6-2 Formation with Infiltration is also formed by 2 Setters and 4 Hitters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The difference between the simple 4-2 Formation and the 4-2 Formation with Infiltration is that the Setter positioned in the front zone acts as an attacker and the Setter positioned in the back zone always infiltrates the front zone to perform the set.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The main difficulty in the 4-2 Formation with Infiltration consists in the shift in the position of the Setter positioned in the back zone, who always needs to infiltrate the front zone to perform the set.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The main advantage of the 4-2 Formation with Infiltration is that the team always has three hitters in the front zone.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5-1 Formation in Volleyball<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The 5-1 Formation is the formation of highest level in Volleyball, used by high-performance teams.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In the 5-1 Formation all of the players have specialized Positioning in the 5-1 Formation<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Setter is specialized in setting and is positioned opposite to the Opposite Hitter in the rotation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Opposite Hitter is specialized in attacking and is positioned opposite to the Setter in the rotation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In the 5-1 Formation there are 2 Outside Hitters specialized in receiving the serves and attacks and they are positioned opposite to each other in the rotation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Middle Blocker specializes in attacks at the center of the net and in blocking.
